Cultural events in our workshop
Every year there are a number of cultural events "Kultur in der Werkstatt" in our workshop, which become more and more popular and attract large audiences.
     
 
 
     
 
2007 - Installation of new machines
 
     
 

In order to meet the latest technological standards, we install a number of new machines in our workshop, e.g. an automatic edge-banding machine, a MAYER panel saw and a highly effective new air filtering system.

 
     
 
 
     
 
2003 / 2004 / 2005 / 2006 / 2007 - Events in our workshop
 
 
We decide to stage a series of cultural events in our workshop, which we call "Kultur in der Werkstatt". The term stands for musical events, readings, recitals, exhibitions, fairs etc. presented by established as well as unknown artists from our region but also from all over Germany and Austria.
More than 100 visitors attend the first of these events. After this initial success, we decide to continue staging these cultural events.

2002 - Change of ownership / exhibitions at fai
 
 



Andreas Wagner Jr. succeeds his father and becomes the new owner of the company.

2001 - Extension of product range
 
  We include the sliding-door-system
"Raumplus" into our product range.
 

 
   
 
 
 
1999 - 100th anniversary of our company
 
  
 
 
      
  We celebrate our 100th anniversary with four days of events, including an exhibition "Kunst und Holz" ("Art and Wood"). A number of politicians and celebrities come to congratulate Andreas Wagner. The money raised at our "birthday party" is donated to earthquake victims in Turkey.  
     
                      
   
 
 
 
1999 - We enlarge the network of distributors of our bathroom furniture
 
 
The network of distributors of our bathroom furniture now covers all of Bavaria and Austria.
We supply and install built-in furniture, office furniture and kitchens all over Germany and also in Austria.

The permanent exhibition of built-in and bathroom furniture is opened. Our permanent staff now consists of 25 people.

1985-1990 - Introduction of new manufacturing technologies
 
 
Andreas Wagner Jr. (born 1958) expands the product range to include bathroom furniture.
Computer technology is used in the office and in the workshop. Furniture designers can now send data directly from their office to the production units.
 
   
 
 
 
1975 - First participation in an international fair

For the first time, we present wall units with folding beds "Bettlift 2000" at the "Internationale Handwerksmesse" (international handicraft fair) at Munich.
Then we present our products at fairs at Passau, Nuremberg and Vienna. We now have customers all over the south and west of Germany.
 
   
 
 
 
1973 - Our company grows - erection of new production building
 
 
By now our staff consists of 12 employees.

efficient production tools and machines enable
us to produce furniture in greater quantities.

 
 
 
 
 
 
1965-1970 - "Bettlift 2000"
 
 

In the early 70ies our company specializes exclusively on the production of furniture.
The rising popularity of the Lower Bavarian spa triangle Bad Füssing, Bad Griesbach, Bad Birnbach creates a growing demand of furniture for hotels and guest rooms.
Andreas Wagner decides to specialize and develops "Bettlift 2000", a folding-bed-system which will remain the most important product of our company for two decades.
 
   
 
 
 
1952-1965 - The post-war years
 
 


Several extensions are added to the workshop building. The focus of our production lies on doors and windows, but we also produce furniture, coffins, coat hangers and buttons made from deer antlers.

1951 - The first workshop building
 
 
                   
                           In 1951 Gewerberat Andreas Wagner dies. He is succeeded by                            his sonAndreas (born 1930), who designs and self-builds power
                           tools, e.g a circular saw, a belt sander and a milling machine.
                           Thee first workshop building is erected.

1927/28 - Andreas Wagner is appointed "Gewerberat"
 
                  In recognition of his services in the foundation of the "Schreiner-Innung                   (professional association of carpenters) Passau/Land" Andreas Wagner                   is awarded the title of "Gewerberat". For many years, Andreas Wagner                   resides this organization.
                  Andreas Wagner sells his two cows in order purchase his first planing                   machine.

1907 - Andreas Wagner succeeds L. Stoiber

                          After L. Stoiber's early death his widow Anna gets married to
                          Andreas Wagner, a farmer's son from Kopfsberg
                          In 1913 Andreas Wagner passes the examination to acquire
                           the title "Handwerksmeister" (master craftsman).

1899 - Foundation of the company
Property house no. 17 in Vornbach, birthplace of Vornbach abbot Angelus Rumpler (1501-1513), is given by Franziska Hönigdobler to her daughter Anna Hönigdobler and her groom Ludwig Stoiber, "lediger, grossjähriger Schreinermeister in Vornbach" (single, full-aged master carpenter in Vornbach). Ludwig Stoiber converts the former bakery and farm into a carpenter's workshop.
